Trip of Unaccompanied Minor–

For trips with an unaccompanied minor, it is necessary to purchase the accompanying service. With it, minors will have the assistance of our employees from the beginning to the end of their trip, so that you can count on peace of mind throughout their journey.

It’s important to know:

• The unaccompanied minor service is available for passengers from 8 years of age to 16 years of age and does not replace passengers who, due to legal or medical reasons, need to be accompanied.
• GOL employees will be in charge of accompanying the passenger to the aircraft. During the flight, he will be under the responsibility of the cabin manager.
• Upon arrival at the airport, a member of the GOL team will welcome you and take you to the person in charge.
• GOL does not transport unaccompanied children under 8 years of age.
• The service is not available on connecting flights.
• At the airport, parents or guardians must go to the GOL counter and present the necessary documentation for assistance.
• It is necessary that the person responsible for the child or adolescent remains at the airport until the departure of the flight is confirmed.

General rules

TRAVELING WITH BABIES

• Babies up to 2 years old  can board domestic flights without paying for the air ticket. On international flights, they pay 10% of the adult fare. Both on domestic and international flights, the baby must travel on the lap of a responsible adult over 18 years old.
   
• Only one infant per customer is allowed. In case of twins, there must be two paying adults. For more information, visit the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) website.
   
• GOL does not transport children between 0 and 8 years of age unaccompanied by a guardian over 18 years of age.

Payment methods

Credit cards– GOL accepts the main credit card brands and your tickets can be paid in installments.

Customers will be able to pay the purchase of tickets in up to 5 installments without interest or between 6 and 12 installments with interest of 1.99% per month, on Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners, Elo, HyperCard and JCB cards.

Pay with two cards

If you prefer, you can divide the total amount of your purchase between two credit cards. The benefit has no cost. This payment method is valid only for purchases with a minimum value of R$ 100.00.

For every US$ 1 spent (or the equivalent in reais), you earn up to two Smiles miles to exchange for tickets from GOL and the program’s partner airlines, such as Delta Air Lines, Air France, KLM and Qatar.

GOL business card
