The newly announced smart wearable, powered by a Qualcomm 5100 SoC, is set to go on sale in the country next week.

Style it your way

There are plenty of ways to add some personal flair to your Pixel Watch 2. You can choose from a selection of six new watch face families, ranging from simple and subtle to expressive and colorful.

Specifications for the Google Pixel Watch 2
The Pixel Watch 2 has a 3D curved always-on display with a pixel density of 320ppi, a peak brightness level of 1000 nits, and a special Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the display. The wristwatch is powered by a Qualcomm 5100 SoC, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. The watch comes pre-installed with Wear OS 4.0.

The Pixel Watch 2 has a compass, an altimeter, a 3-axis accelerometer, a gyroscope, an ambient light sensor, a barometer, and a magnetometer. This watch, like most other fitness monitoring gadgets, has an oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitor, an ECG monitor, a multi-path optical heart rate sensor, and an electrical sensor to detect skin conductance (cEDA) for body response tracking, and a skin temperature sensor.

The Pixel Watch 2 has a 306mAh battery that is said to provide up to 24 hours of battery life with an always-on display. In contrast to the first Pixel Watch, which arrived with wireless charging functionality, the new Pixel Watch 2 foregoes this in favour of contact pins. A USB Type-C charging cable with four contact pins is supplied in the box.
